Jenny Iannarelli
Jenny was born in England but her family moved to Jersey, Channel Islands when she was 11 years old. She attended Jersey Ladies College and later went to secretarial college to gain knowledge in the field of administration.
Jenny's family owned several hotels on the island of Jersey and she was involved in the business from an early age.
Mario worked at one of the hotels as Chef de Rang and both Jenny & Mario started what has proved to be a lifetime commitment to each other.
The family immigrated to Australia and arrived at Fremantle port on the "Australis" May 25th 1970 - Jenny & Mario were married in South Perth on the 18th July 1970.
As hospitality was in both of their bloods the next step was to open a restaurant and this was achieved in September of the same year. With a slow start and near disaster the restaurant evolved to become the most sought after dining experience between Perth & Fremantle. Trattoria La Capannina was the most successful Italian restaurant in Perth for many years.
In 1999 the urge to move from Perth proved to be too much and a 28 acre property was purchased in Karridale and McLeod Creek Wines was born.
