Ruby red in colour, the McLeod Creek 2005 Merlot delights with cherry plum fruit, vanilla bean and nutmeg aromas.
The palate begins with red berry fruits and vanilla notes which continue into spice and gentle oak tannins that add length to the finish.

Mario suggests this wine would be a great accompaniment to a tender rack of lamb which has been spiked with garlic and rosemary sprigs and served with roast potatoes from the garden!
